The origins of Grafikontrol date back to 1969, the year in which Antonio De Grandis and Umberto Filippi formed the company. The company’s orientation is naturally the result of the previous work experience of the two partners in the sector of register and cutting controls for rotogravure and offset presses.

In the early 70s, Guido Agazzi and then Luigi Artuffo joined the company: Agazzi immediately became the protagonist of the growth of Grafikontrol together with the team of members, while Artuffo first assumed the technical direction of the company, and then became a partner. a few years later.

From this moment, not only does the Company change its corporate name, which becomes Grafikontrol – Graphic and Industrial Controls, but it also improves its mission, engaging itself in the development of control equipment in the graphic sector.

With the primary objective of improving print quality, reducing downtime and minimizing waste, Grafikontrol has engaged in highly innovative projects. In this continuous challenge, the choice of components with the highest degree of precision and reliability and the adoption of strict specifications according to high standards have allowed the Company to achieve excellent levels of performance.

Thanks to the great experience in the sector and the deep knowledge of the market, Grafikontrol has come into contact with the main Italian and foreign printers and manufacturers.

In over 40 years of activity, the company has grown a lot, reaching more than 100 employees and being recognized as a leader in the sector. The control systems created by it are known and appreciated by all the most important printers, not only for their quality and functionality but above all because they have been studied and manufactured according to the specific needs of the user customers.

Today, the second generation managers, sons of the founders, collaborate with the parents in carrying out the philosophy that made the company great: Paolo De Grandis, Davide Filippi and Carlo Artuffo participate in the management of Grafikontrol with the same passion and dedication of the fathers, projected towards a future full of important new goals.
